I believe in leading through service, so I pursued community outreach opportunities with the City of Duluth and Gwinnett County. I am excited to continue this service as a member of the Duluth City Council.
Suited Seniors provides free professional attire to high school seniors in Duluth and Norcross, preparing them for class presentations, college, job interviews, internships, and beyond. We proudly partnered with the Duluth-Norcross Kiwanis Club, which adopted Suited Seniors as its official signature project, and the Gwinnett County Public Library to expand our reach and resources. The initiative’s impact was celebrated nationally when it was featured on the main stage of the Kiwanis International Convention in Pennsylvania this summer. The Sisterhood Social is a professional women’s networking mixer designed to encourage meaningful connections, collaboration, and empowerment. What began as a Women’s History Month celebration quickly grew when participants requested another opportunity after experiencing the powerful bonds formed at the first event.

Women from across the community are invited to share, connect, and support one another as they navigate careers and family.
The Emerging Voices Advisory Council empowers young people ages 17–21 with opportunities to learn, lead, and shape their community through hands-on civic engagement. The inaugural cohort launches on October 25th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Duluth Branch Public Library located at 3180 Main Street in Duluth. Participants will work directly with local leaders, engage in service projects, and explore pathways to future civic leadership. Emerging Voices ensures youth have both a voice and a seat at the table in Duluth’s future.
